Just got off the phone, canceled my plans to go camping that week.
I think plane tickets from North Carolina to Las Vegas aren't super expensive, going to go take a look and possibly buy tonight. Better to buy early when they're cheaper!

In all honesty, if this isn't a joke and in-fact an actual thread for an actual convention, i don't think it's worth it. Like others have said, a good majority can not afford all the costs that comes with purchasing a ticket, airways, hotel etc. Some of them would also need permission or parental guidance to be accompanied by to come and even then i highly doubt they would go since it's not a very known convention. Might be a big waste of money

Just my personal opinion on this, but something like this will probably go down in a similar way to that Tumblr convention that was held once. I also don't really see many people going, because yes, the site has 55,000 people, but what's the likelihood that a reasonable amount of those people are adults that have money. The age for flying alone is 16+, so, from looking at the general demographic of Minecraft, probably rules out about three-quarters of the site's users.[DOUBLEPOST=1491023987][/DOUBLEPOST]

If you guys think this is actually serious, lmao. Out of all of the 365 days of the year, they would post it on April 1st, but again last year on April 1st Bosny became owner and everyone thought it was a joke. Maybe it is or isn't.

Who knows... I have a distinct feeling that it probably is. The fact that they're also deleting posts means that they most likely don't want people spoiling the "surprise"
