Hey Guys, i just wanted an opinion from you guys about what hosting location i should go with,
US has alot of variety and is also extremely cheep - Lowest ive seen is Kimsufi
However as i live in AUS my ping is always 200+
AUS On the other hand has alot of pros for it but with one major con
Pros of it being that there are hardly no big networks hosted in Australia - Therefore there is a big change to open something big as much Aus servers are very small and only offer SMP
The only decent Dedicated host that ive found that hosts in Australia is PickleHosting
They offer 4 main Dedicated server plans, however im interested in either one of these two
Plan 1:
Intel Xeon E3-1270v2
16gb (going to get 32 for an extra $15)
10TB Bandwidth
60gb ssd or 50gb hdd
1gb/s
with a free MultiCraft installation
For $135 a month + $15 for the 32gb ram
Plan 2:
Intel Xeon E5-1620v2 @ 3.8ghz (Monster clock
)
64gb of ram
unmetered bandwith
100Gbps DDOS Protection
3x 160Gb SSD
500mb/s
Please let me know which one you believe would be better
I believe that the Aus market would be a better approach but would it be worth spending the extra money?
let me know
