Ban all foreign characters and emojis from usernames!

This makes it incredibly hard to find someone on MCM to message them or what not. It can even be used to evade a ban temporarily because the staff member may just give up trying to find the correct unicode symbol that they used. Also, it is just plain unprofessional. For example, Twitter doesn't allow any foreign characters or emojis in usernames, yet people still manage to find something decent to be called.

Well, who is gonna go try to find a thread they were in as they are currently typing a reply and want to mention a particuler user. It disrupts the workflow.

I highly doubt a staff member wouldn't ban someone because they don't feel like copy pasting a user name. ._. I have higher faith in the staff on Mc-market than to even suggest that.. xD

But you missed the whole point. What if the person you want to find hasn't posted on the current thread. You can't click on their avatar or even mention them. And the Members page doesn't list all the members on the forum.

Say you start a new thread and want to tag a member that is not very active and has a username like yours.

Then you just need to find him. Looking at the criteria for this tho and I don't see this a big problem enough to ban special letters on names tho.
