i got scammed by some loser whom of which got all his rep from free shit, so much people are giving away steam keys and then litterally asking for reputation to be handed to them when they are giving them out, the reputation system with this shit is so broken and the games are litterally games you can pay cents for from merchants, i just find it despicable how people can get 20 rep in a day for free shit meanwhile LonelyTree or Glove or DarkNinja have all worked for this shit.

This is one of the many reasons why our reputation system is no longer deals only. In order to lesson the impact of "deal farmers".

The wise thing to do would be to consider the quality of the reputation a person has over the quantity.
Reputation is there as a resource for you to utilize, but it is up to each person how they utilize it.
Going based purely off the count and not the contents is user error.
