Ban Shaders or Require Pictures Without Them

Lets face it. The average player does not have shaders.

The average player uses the default resource pack. That's what they'll see.

Further more: if a build looks good in "Default", it looks good everywhere.

Suggestion: ban shaders altogether (or require each picture with shaders to have a counterpart without them, imo this isn't necessary)

Look, although not everyone uses the shaders mod, if you have the desire and dedication to sell a build one should give both a shaders view and a normal view for users.

Why though? The players will see it with the default resource pack. It feels like cheating to dress it up to make it look like something that it isn't.

I mean you really don't have to do it. You'll probably fall behind other builders who give out shader pictures though.

I think more people would agree if you removed the "ban shaders" part.. don't think they are reading it entirely because of that.

Yeah plus there's no reason to ban shaders. It's just taking an extra five minutes to make a look nicer.

It still doesn't change the fact that the pictures with shaders are essentially lies to dress up the product. Sure, they look pretty but then you get less than what you see. Imo, anything but the default resource pack shouldn't be allowed, with few exceptions.

4: If someone makes a build using a resource pack the pictures might not look as good with default.

A shader is a lie? I'm pretty sure the shaders wiki is fairly transparent . Please note the shaders don't change the actual build. May I ask why there's such a fuss over this?

1: not if your build is decent, look at default pics of Wynncraft
2: even though players will see the builds without the shaders

Lets change this into a real world perspective? Would you allow corps to lie about their products because it helps them?
