Lets face it. The average player does not have shaders.

The average player uses the default resource pack. That's what they'll see.

Further more: if a build looks good in "Default", it looks good everywhere.

Suggestion: ban shaders altogether (or require each picture with shaders to have a counterpart without them, imo this isn't necessary)

Lets change this into a real world perspective? Would you allow corps to lie about their products because it helps them?

There's no reason to ban products with false claims at all. Hell, it makes the product look cooler, which is obviously what the corporation is going for. They can include whatever lies they want, imo. It obviously attracts buyers.

If you want to see the product without the lies, all you have to do is ask them. In my opinion, there's no reason we need to require this. You can learn to waste your time asking, bud. ;)

Really?
Have you seen television commercials? That's a real world perspective. Does your McDonald's meal really look like it does on the television screen? No. The food on the screen has been prepared in such a way that it looks like it went through a makeup session. It's absolutely perfect.

That's all that's being done here. There's no lying involved. The builder is simply making their product look better. That's what advertising is.

And yes, really. I'm not going to sit and go through builder threads to check to make sure they have images with the default resource pack because you're too lazy to ask for them yourself. Sorry, but not sorry.
