What's the best way to invest $5,000 (diversified) as a teen? Crypto is a good way in my opinion. But what else? (That you guys think)

Around $1.5k (out of 5k) in crypto is okay I guess.

What do you guys invest in?

I'm not trying to flex, I don't even have $5k at the moment.

You trying to make it long term or short term?
Both, some risky investments, some less risky investments, some long term, some short term.

I'm 15 so i still have a lot of years, i live on a island where the electricity is not cheap so crypto mining? No.

Think 1.5k is to much in crypto for you I would try to get into maybe trading and such with low amounts to gain large amounts.
Maybe 1.5k is too much for in crypto yeah.
Maybe i should just do 10%.[DOUBLEPOST=1636928532][/DOUBLEPOST]
Invest in a service team, pay for the correct legal documents, hire some managers, and charge a service fee; Service teams make really good money but they require time and dedication
Maybe i should start my own service team

I would look into investing in some mcm business's (there is a high scam rate so do your research). I've lost a couple investments but have also have made some really good ones on here, so its something to consider for your high risk part of your portfolio (not to mention it helps short and long term).

That's not allowed anymore right on mcm?

I would personally recommend;
A) Crypto - This is literally just keeping up with the hype. Once you get basic knowledge of crypto it's pretty easy to make smart investments and know when they sell and when to buy. Without KYC (since you're a teen, presuming you'd use a no KYC wallet) you do need to typically buy from a private seller through which gives risk, takes some time, and could potentially be a lot of $ lost due to gas fees and such.

B) Start a project!! This is something I absolutely adore and it typically actually earns you quite a few bucks.

I have a verified Binance.com account. So i can easily buy and the first time i bought some eth and btc was in 2017, so i've been in crypto for a while

I think i'm going to start some SaaS project, and still gonna continue with freelancing while doing that.

I disagree with this. If you started one a while ago it would be another story but there are so many teams the market is being stretched out

Considering you are 15 I would advise you to invest in yourself, and not others. $5000 is a substantial amount at your age, if I were you I’d invest 75-80% of it in medium-risk funds. This amount will grow quite a lot over the years if you are patient due to compound interest. In a 8 years time, that amount can be quite useful in order to take up a loan on your first property, or it may help fund your education.

The other 15-20% I would use to learn by doing. For example, as you mentioned crypto currencies. Start with a small amount, like $100, and as you learn and become better at trading, increase the amount. Same goes for the stock market if that also interest you. Or perhaps even try starting a project of your own, you will learn a ton from that. This has a higher risk, but what you might learn from doing it is invaluable.

In the end it is your money and it’s your decision to make. You should also have a dialogue with your parents, and ask them what they think. You could even ask your banks financial advisors if there are any specific savings accounts and so forth with good interest rates, or any other great perks for teenagers.

My parents support me for sure, i also earn around ≈$1k/month with freelancing so i can also keep investing that. But I really want to diversify, and i’m not located in the USA.
