I got a $1 from vernix with cpanel, its great.

Not 'amazing' but it does the job.

I'm personally not a fan of most web hosts because they run apache which is quite a lot slower and heavier than nginx.

No. We use InterNAP and Amazon. OVH has too much downtime.
