Black Lives Matter was created by white democrats in order to empower black individuals. The moment a black person sides with a conservative or simply doesn’t vote Democrat their life is meaningless to the left.

Nobody who's worth thinking about believes black lives don't matter, and I don't think anyone who really understands the problem thinks there is no discrepancy between the treatment of black and white Americans by the police and criminal justice system.
I think the more interesting issue here is the police issue.
Recall Hong Kong, 2019. Mainland Chinese Military Police Forces entered sovereign Hong Kong to control protests. They sprayed dyed pepper spray and water to mark anyone seen protesting. Officers without identification arrested any protesters they could, took IDs, then moved them off to unknown detention centers. The Hong Kong Government pushed back against the mainland police taking control, but were unable to take any meaningful action to stop the takeover and now the supposedly sovereign region is more or less under direct control of mainland China.
Now look at Portland right now, nondescript federal officers have been roaming the streets arresting protesters silently and taking them to god knows where in unmarked vehicles. They've used dyed pepper spray to mark protestors. Portland's mayor joined the protestors and detests the federal officers who are now policing the protest.
The parallel's between the US' response to the protest and China's is Orwellian.
Perhaps the police are right to try and stop protestors from damaging federal property, but to align your methods with that of the CCP? How can you align yourself with China and claim to be the protectors of the free world. Something has to give.
