There are physical hardware limits, however your server should never come close to reaching these. Using 15GB is no problem.
I personally think 15GB is still overkill, lol. I really like your other company (ShockByte), and I'm really excited to see the success of BoostRAM. I hope I can be an active customer in the near future. Best of luck!

Not meaning to start anything, however 15GB is quite honestly impossible to be in use. A server can only hold up to so many players from a vanilla point of view and fewer once plugins/mods are installed. Once you're hitting the 10-12GB point, the server's need load balancing and such. What BoostRAM offers is a flexible service so that the server upgrades when RAM is needed whether it be for plugins or more players. They set the soft limit at 8GB which is perfect for even large servers peaking at 100 players.

I highly doubt you'll ever hit the point where you need 15GB, it simply isn't something that just happens unless you intend to install a few hundred mods, plugins and have quite a firm playerbase.

Very excited to possibly transfer my server to BoostRAM. Would you guys happen to offer Dedicated IPs?

Yes, we do offer Dedicated IPs. You can select this during checkout. When ordering a Dedicated IP, our system will automatically assign the Dedicated IP when your server is activated (no need to wait for manual activation).

I purchased a bunch of servers from Shockbyte, about 6+ months ago. I hope the support for BoostRAM isn't the same as Shockbyte. That would be embarrassing.

Don't compare too completely separate companies. There is nothing to compare.
Well, it's managed by the same person. :p

BoostRAM and Shockbyte are different companies, however Shockbyte's support has also dramatically improved since 6 months ago. Both companies provide very fast support.

A server can only hold up to so many players from a vanilla point of view and fewer once plugins/mods are installed.

Just for the records there are now better server software that could be used to suppress vanilla's limitations to boost the numbers of players. Throw in more and more things being slowly shifted to multithreading then I am sure servers will be able to use xxGB and multiple CPU cores (I talked to a few providers not too long ago and they already noticing more threads are being used on certain setups) more easily than it once was.

Don't compare too completely separate companies. There is nothing to compare.

Actually... Looking at sister brands can help customers know if they able to deliver or not...

For example if Person A were the owner of Company A and Company B. With....

Company A being opened 4 years before Company B of clean track records. Then it most likely much "safer" to assume that Company B under Person A will be acceptable dealings.

Now if we had something like.. Person B with Company C and Company D. With...

Company C being opened for 4 years before Company D came along. Only to see that Company C had a history of such things as...

Bad servicing
Refusing to provide refunds/compensations
Treat their employees as "trash"

Then well you may ends up running from BOTH Company C and Company D to get out of "range" with Person B.

Of course this only works well if you put in time and efforts researching other factors of brands but this is a good "indication" you can use on your "tool belt".

Says the guy who's had multiple bad experiences with multiple companies and always blames management for everything when he's a prick of a client. I previously worked for Shockbyte and I know exactly who you are. I won't disclose personal information but you were always an ass. I'm not here to defend Shockbyte as they have their share of issue, but you need to learn when to back off.
I'm sorry you're a failure when it comes to entrepreneurships but seriously, bug off. Until you've tried the service, don't bad mouth them as a company. I've known Mitch for a few years now and I know he wants nothing but quality. When I offered methods for him to cut some corners for BoostRAM he declined. Back off.

TL;DR: Stop bringing up your previous bad history, find a VPS somewhere and go piss them off. People don't like you in the hosting industry because you're a prick who doesn't know what they're talking about.

(I'm more than happy to remove this if and when the quoted user removes their comments as well or if Mitch requests it.)

Please tell me where I am specifically stating any negativity towards Shockbyte.

Thanks you in advance.

Your Hoster Should Provide Bungeecord Servers like what OMGServ does instead of people buying a server for $20 each.

Alright, so I bought a server about a week ago from them. First issue is the server setup, it took around 24 Hours for it to be activated, however, I was compensated for this downtime. Second, there's a few things that aren't configured properly:

Third, support is slow, and the support team seems to be very small.
