New member in all his threads throwing out big numbers. Sure there's a possibility but it seems very sketchy. If he's legit, then the best of luck to him.
Not always is he taking a server then not paying a scam. Nothing has to be "scammed" to count as a scam. This person is just a scam. More than likely he doesn't have 10k to spend, and he most certainly doesn't have a server. Plus, his post is very unprofessional for the budget he claims to have. It would be a bit more believable if he added some info on him, and the servers he owns. Added in a format to make it all look legit. It is not that he is going to scam anyone, but the user himself is just looking to waste peoples time. Not saying he wont scam, but as of now he himself is just a scam/waste of peoples time.
Honestly in my opinion I shouldn't have to make a lage post detailing the intricacies of the servers I own and the specification for what I'm looking for. I'm flexible and I'm looking for servers to buy. If you own a server which meets the broad requirements I posted then sure. PM me on discord and I'd be willing to login to my servers and provide proof of ownership.
In your opinion. But, in the business world. Most people will give some background in their posts, to assure legitimacy. You didn't do this, plus you being new to the site, will make people be a bit on edge with you. Thus why you should go above in beyond to make yourself more believable and so fourth.
But your a new member with absolutly no rep or anyone to vouch for you. You can already see so far your not being taken serious because the lack of things you've provided. Whether or not you think you shouldn't have to make a post with great detail someone at your level and being new kinda has to in order to be taken seriously.
And this is a prime example of why MCM is not a marketplace, it is a community.
In the business world I would never deny business with someone just because I don't know them, that would be silly. If a business oriented individual see's an opportunity he wouldn't be hesitant to look into just because the individual is unknown. Instead of trashing a thread with skepticism of it being a scam even when you have no interest in making an offer, you should instead provide information that could be used and that is not ridiculous. Of course, anyone making this large of a deal would most likely have contracts in place to ensure that the transaction goes smoothly.
$10K should get you a few hundred players if I'm not mistaken. You could even use that money to advertise your other two networks for more profits.
It's possible that you have $10K to throw at a server. I wish that I never spent a few grand on my past servers though. Good luck with whatever you want to do.
