Hello, i been thinking about making good builds for players for a price but I don't know how to go about this should i just make a few builds to show my skill or should I just post threads saying "Building Custom Builds for 10$) or should i go about making a cool banner spending a lot of time on text and formatting and go about getting my trust and name up first if you want to help me out that would be great!

More Info
Hello! I have been building for 2 years now and come to notice that my builds are very unique and different from other peoples builds! I built for over 25 people and I got nothing but amazing feedback saying that I should start charging people for my builds and I have taken this into consideration and thought of spending more time on getting my name out there and I have seen some pretty good builder teams on here and was wondering if you could help me and lead me in the right path! No this is not me asking to join a build team this is me asking for some good advice on getting started on a team and getting my name out there so people will be like I need a spawn let me hit up this guy!

About Me!
I do not scam I do not believe in scamming and honestly, I hate asking for money for builds but from the resent feedback i have been getting from my free builds! I'm a 15-year-old boy that is in high school so I got lots of time to work on builders it's just a matter of publicity!

How I got Into Building!
One Day I was working on a server and I was told to get started on a faction spawn so i spent some where around 2 houres on a spawn while the owner left to go do somthing and he came back and was amazed at how good it was and I honestly could of put more effort into it so at that moment in time i was like "What if I put all I got into a build" so I did so and someone offered me 25$ for it and I turned it down and gave it to him because at that time I did not want to sell builds due to the fact that I didnt expect money while I was building it! This guy asked if he could keep in touch and update him with all my new builds so i did just that and he and his fellow friends were offering me money for my builds so i just got into doing it at a fast paste but I never really sold any I just kinda gave them away!

Ingame Info
My Minecraft name is Ranger_2012 I been playing for over 5 years and I know basically all there is to know about Minecraft!

Please consider commenting on what my next step in building should be!

Selling builds in minecraft can be considered a difficult business due to the vast age/maturity range of potential clients, as well as everyone having different opinions on how something should be done or how it should not be done.

First off, I would like to also recommend putting together a portfolio of builds you have completed. This portfolio should not contain unfinished builds, and you should use minecraft shaders for said photos in the portfolio to start off. A good starting portfolio website is Imgur, as you can simply create a album and use a link. The best way to build up your portfolio is to do private builds on single player and then selling them with the proper procedure on the dedicated forum. Though, I have seen some professional builders actually do free, yet small, vouch copies in order to get a portfolio + reputation + vouches.

Once you have a good portfolio and enough vouches ( You can find this out by comparing it to other portfolios or posting a thread in the dedicated area ), you can join a freelancer team or a build team to earn some beginner cash or just to get more experience/portfolio.
Remember that you are new , and you do not have a lot to show for your skill ( no matter how great) so you might want to start cheap when you start selling your builds, and then adjust your prices to others opinions of your work and how much you actually need to make a profit.

Lastly, a good service thread with a custom thread design graphic has benefited a lot of services. These usually list a slogan/motto, prices, a few pictures , contact info, a small summary of your service, and probably your portfolio.
On a more long-term note, it will be wise to get Chunky 3D Rendering or Cinema4D for 3D renders to better advertise your builds.

I hope I could help! C:
