Currently there is a way for people to bump threads every 24 hours or 12 hours if you have a business account.

There should be a way to bump resources even if its like once a week because currently the only way to bump your resource is by updating/fixing bugs but if you have made something that has no bugs etc then you will never get to bump it back to the top.

Do you think there should be a weekly bump button for resources ?

Even if it was just for supreme then I would probaly buy an account upgrade!

Many users try and bump their resources by abusing the resource update feature, which they get warned for.
I'm not against adding a bumping feature as an alternative.
However, unless we add a new filter option, the filter option that it will be bumped to the top of is the "Most recently updated" filter, which suggests that an update was made, changes were made, that they need to re-download the files (because that's what updates are for).
If it's possible to add a new filter, "Relevance" would be acceptable, and making that the default, then I could get behind it.
But I'd rather not screw up what we already have so that resource authors can get more attention than new resources or resources which have actually had significant changes made to them.

If we can do it right, it can be a well received feature. Though I do agree that it should be after a very long time that the author is allowed to bump it.

Some threads get replies every hour if not minute, and that bumps them to the top again.
Resources on the other hand, get updated after days and weeks of hard work from the author before they can update it and it gets to be bumped to the top again.
The wait time between manual bumps from the author should certainly reflect the difference there.

I do agree with you but this was already suggested and it is in the 'pending suggestions'.

I like this a lot, I think it should be added. This is a feature that is already abused with the updates thing, but I think it'd be a lot better to just be able to bump it, that way resources that are active have a lot more exposure, if you get what I mean.
