I want you all to stop advertising your $1gb ram bs vps if you guys do not know that shit is shared and they are up selling and spoofing your ram. If they where to ever cap out on ram it would be a disaster I also want to talk about the fucking ddos protection you guys try and say you have its unreal. 980gbs??? this is not ovh even if it was they can not even stop 5gbs attacks the firewalls have so many holes its like fucking swiss cheese. Many of the hosting providers and when I say many its about 99% of them are reselling their machines from other company where I do not see anything wrong with that I do however see issues with lieing. For example OVH is really well known for being good in the community I use to use them but I got hit off by a shitty 5gbit of linode vpss. These providers do not actually provide what they are advertising I would not believe any of them if they say they stop over 10gbs. A real solution that stop 980gbs ddos would cost around $600 a month for a decent setup. Proxypipe real ddos protection costs around $260 a month from what I have heard. That does not include hardware. If we could kindly purge the cancer from this section I would be willing to call out any company on here and see where they are reselling from and kind of protection they have if anyone would want me to. Many of these hosts are fine for everyday use for a small server just not for larger ones.

Not saying what you're saying is false, But would like to point out the fact we do display things such as RAM usage and CPU usage publicly to show were not spoofing / overselling RAM.

https://pebblehost.com/monitor.html
That is very interesting I like that very much! Then again their is no way to really prove that the numbers are real. At any time though from looking at your numbers if your clients where to all start capping their ram then you would have issues.
Then again I guess that is the gamble you guys all take to increase profit margines but its nice to see this visualy I would recommend pebble host just for doing this I have never tested them but that is very decent of them as people to do.

Currently on both our Nodes if ALL our clients were to Max our on RAM, we would still be fine, the CA-01 Node's RAM Graph looks high but its to do with the way memory works, The GREEN part of the CA-01 Graph is actually Free RAM.

Our CA-01 Node has 51GB Assigned to Servers out of 64GB
Our TX-01 Node has 32GB Assigned to Servers out of 48GB

Could I have a Ip to one of your servers?

Some can sell at $1 per GB without doing this. Colo for a server could be $50 a month, with 128GB RAM, they could sell at $1 per GB and still make money without overselling their RAM. Alot do this.

More like 80-90%. Alot here own their servers. Me included.

Im not sure you really know what you're talking about. Alot of 128GB servers, dont have "that CPU" they have 2 CPU's. (Servers can have more than one). I use two 8 core Xeons.

Thats 1 CPU core per 8GB RAM. Which is quite normal, and what most people have. A small dedi often has a E3 (4 cores) and 32GB RAM. The E3 would be slightly better for a number of reasons. But the E5's wouldn't be far behind, and considering a E3 dedi costs alot more, a 128GB server with 16 CPU cores, wouldn't be "dog shit". You also forget most people order quite a bit more RAM than they really need anyway. Often under 20PB servers are using 4GB or more. So CPU load is alot less than you might think. I have around 15 servers using up about 40GB RAM in total. All of those are using around 2-3 cores. Only really peaks over that when a server is restarting.

Don't forget that Minecraft is highly single-threaded.

I do not think you know what you are talking about the amount of cores does not matter for minecraft Its all single thread base a I7700k is by far the best cpu for a minecraft server especially when over clock to 5.0ghz I run my server about 150 playres atm with 8gb of ram its useless shit you do not need much of it its all about cpu. I am capping my cpu almost atm from tile entities and primed tnt. a single core when selling a gb at at time means its shared so if multiple server lets say 4 are sharing that single core one of them can ruin the entire cpu for the others.[DOUBLEPOST=1498349903][/DOUBLEPOST]

If anyone wants to know pebblehost is resold OVH which is not a bad thing and I like that they publicly display usages really cool of them to do.

Cores do matter quite a bit. If you were running a single server, then yes it would be clockspeed. But we are talking about a MC host here. All the servers on that host aren't running on a single core.

We no longer offer Minecraft servers as a service. We are going to be opening a VPS product line instead.
Vps is much better Great for hub servers as well![DOUBLEPOST=1498350608][/DOUBLEPOST]

As I said I would love to see a Ip of a server so I can test it our if you are willing?

Well it seems to me we have these to companys you are reselling from if anyone is interested what Dragon Node Resells. Just remember when you are purchasing resold products you are paying for the customer service that they provide and I can not tell you how these guys are as far as custom service for anyone that looks at this.[DOUBLEPOST=1498350994][/DOUBLEPOST]
