Yeah, I've done research, but this won't work.
Activation lock is before the set up process, so you can't get to settings.[DOUBLEPOST=1517525903][/DOUBLEPOST]
Not switching from Apple <3
But thanks for your input ;)

Apple is just much easier to use tbh, It's very hard to hack into.[DOUBLEPOST=1517526127][/DOUBLEPOST]
Wanna sell me your 7 ;)

I would but I gave it to my sister.

They don't slow their iPhones on purpose, it's the software which they update which is obviously going to be slower for older models.
I heard that as the battery gets weaker, they make the phone run slower in order to compensate for this so it doesn't get used up too fast.[DOUBLEPOST=1517526727][/DOUBLEPOST]Btw look through these (the first one mainly):

- http://www.netchimp.co.uk/webdesign/unlock-iphone/icloud-unlock-bypass/

Can’t.
Can’t do anything when activation locked.
iTunes will just bring up the same message.[DOUBLEPOST=1517527499][/DOUBLEPOST]

I’m talking about when I’m not aware of the original owners Apple ID details, otherwise I could just enter the necessary details

Oh, that's suspicious, did they say that it was activation locked when they were selling it?
They might've stolen it from someone.
Yeah, I knew it was activation locked.
Not suspicious. Isn’t stolen.

Yeah, I'm in the UK too.

So, they can unlock it, even if I'm not aware of the original owner's details?
They did mine way back then. They just had to verify the D/O/B of the account. I had mine set to an email of mine but with an extra S by accident. My dad (thankfully) explained to them, I let them know of the problem, told me the date of birth registration and when we got the phone. And vwalla, regain access.

No idea of the D/O/B of the account
I’ve got proof of purchase though from the previous seller.

Oh yeah, that works! We had to go through D/O/B system due to us not having the purchase verification. My bad, it's been years since I went through this (explains the 4S.) If you contact support and provide them the information it should go swiftly.

Why'd you buy it if you didn't know how to disable the activation lock? :p
❤️ Learning screen repairs, but don’t want to start doing them on other people’s phones until I know I can do them on all models used nowadays. Thought that I could use activation locked phones to practice on as they’re cheaper. Managed to snap up a bargain with this, but thought that if there was a way to remove activation lock it would be great as I’ll potentially end up selling the phone. I mean, I’ll still make money with the activation lock as people still buy, but the margins will be massively different with it. Hope you get what I mean :p
