Just because people want it does not mean its automatically a good idea. If you can come up with a reliable way to validate them, I support it. And I suspect Mick would as well. Unfortunately, that does not seem to happen.I agree. It still makes absolutely no sense.
But so many threads like this were made and mick keeps denying them when people want this. It's autistic.
That doesn't verify anything since you can't see anything until you try to redeem the code..
Do you not understand that doesn't do anything? You can simply enter a random code in the URL and you won't know until you try to redeem it, (I would know because I've been scammed before on a cape code.)
with limited experience with photoshop it's extremely easy to fake that."try" it doesn't mean you redeem it.. I was DMing a guy on twitter and he was able to send me this.

It isn't the best way to do it, but trusting people, being smart, and knowing that there is always that chance you can get scammed can make the chances like 2%.
If people want this, I don't see why they can't. Just clarify that there is a higher risk of getting scammed.

It's impossible for us to handle scam reports on cape codes as we can never tell if a cape was redeemed before or after it was given to a buyer. Even if we made it only reputable people that could sell them, unfortunately reputable people still scam.
Or you could say you have a 2013 code and easily scam $500. Yeah, it's certainly not something that I think should be implemented into MCM.I was going to say, people who are reputable and are leaving the minecraft scene could see this as an opportunity to get some quick cash easy before they leave to never return. They could get $150 in their pocket never to be seen again and even when the scam report is created the guy will not care the slightest.

So what, if someone scams they just get away with it for free? The reason why investments are at your own risk is because there's no way to guarantee that the server (or anything else) would be successful, despite the owners best efforts.Interesting,
I feel like the section should be like the investment and loan section where it's at your own risk to buy cape codes?
