Censorship

Users here on McM have been deprived of their right to censorship. Staff constantly censor threads they do not want to deal with, or whenever the thread is arguing about something.

Who else believes this needs to be stopped?!

This thread is also not doing anything wrong, so please do not lock it. I am just trying to gain support for ideas in a positive way. This is not to ceate more arguments, but to help the staff see what other users think.

I would also appreciate it if the thread is not locked and I am told to PM Mick. One voice to Mick isn't powerful enough to make a change, but 10 or 20 sure is pretty powerful.

Sure. Let's make a section so everyone can rant about the staff team.
Here's the thing, if someone has a issue with staff, they are supposed to PM Mick or tjrgg and they are supposed to deal with it. I'm not sure if that's happening right now as I've never had the need for reporting a staff member.

I post negative stuff against the staff team all the time. I barely get anything censored. Sure, you might say favoritism but when I see some posts... It's blatantly bashing. If you want to post something negative against staff, do so in a helpful constructive way.

I also think there needs to be some sort of system implemented in terms of staff accountability for their mistakes or actions that were taken in poor judgment.

As stated above, just PM an admin. If it doesn't get dealt with, it's the admins, not other staff members.

I don't see how anyone could argue against there being more transparency involved in this website.

Transparency isn't always good. Sure, it should be there but it's definitely not always positive. Now I'm not saying there should be no transparency at all. I'm just saying that the staff team has the final say in this. They are not obliged to be transparent.

You make it seem like if people suggests and get a majority of votes, it happens. But instead, you guys look at this as to see what kind of ridiculous ideas get popped up and if you don't like it, decline it.

I honestly think staff is too lazy or too scared to implement things at this point. Especially after the criticism they received after last update.

Scam reports usually never got censored unless they were troll scam reports. PM a scam resolver or admin.

lol the admins don't even respond to pms. Rocket and Mick have both ignored my PM's for a week straight. Mick's auto response literally says that he doesn't respond to PMs.

I agree the admins are the primary problem.

This is the reason I resigned. I was the only person actually doing something useful.

Edit: Within the Admin team. The rest of the staff are good. Props to them.
