Change ban system for not being of age.

I consistently see people on the banned users for not being 13 years old, however their banning sentence lasts forever. This defies me as they are no longer permitted to sell, and never had a chance. You're punishing people for being honest.

Fun fact: The younger ones are less likely to scam than most, really just cause they don't know how and don't need to.

What I'm asking is for the ban to last till they turn 13 based on the date they set their birthday as, that seems reasonable right?

also to the guy who's gonna say "i n-0 w@nT kIDSd fLOoDingGM Y mAkrtet" screw you, and preteens freely use money more. aka: more sales.

What kind of logic is that? Every single day, there's birthdays all across the world. February isn't a month where people rarely have a birthday, is it? How do you know they are honest though, they lie about being 12, who is to say they're telling the truth about the month/day? Exactly.

I'm sorry but you honestly aren't suggesting anything. You're saying that people who give truthful birthdays should get unbanned, but they do if it's proven real when the time is right. Most just don't get unbanned or do anything to appeal their bans. Justis explained it very well. I really don't see a point in this useless thread as it isn't really suggesting anything because users already can come back if they can simply provide proof. It's too hard to just go based off the birthdate they give because many users give fake info and lie. So if they can be honest and prove it, they can get unbanned. I'm not sure what you don't understand about this rather simple concept.

Regardless of whether or not they should be banned when telling the truth or lying, I see this rule as a maturity line. I saw someone saying something about MCM having to comply with some law, and if that's the case this change won't happen.

Im not sure why this is being discussed. Anyone found to be under age 13 will be banned because MCM is legally required to terminate their account. If they can later prove that they are of age, they can be unbanned. Period. Unless you want to revoke the entirety of COPPA and similar laws across the world, that's not gonna change.
