Changes to current themes

Hello all, as most of you will agree this new theme isn't good the way it is. It needs a lot of changes to become close to the good old dark theme. Instead of asking for the old one back, which is unlikely since its made for a different base system (stock xenforo instead of XenBase idk the technical details), we can change this one to be more like it.

Please leave your suggestions on parts of the theme (fonts, color, text color, text size, etc) to be changed. Don't bother with "bring the old theme back" there's already suggestions for that, please post there instead.

I will start.

• Reduce brightness of thread titles and make them blueish again
• Increase brightness of thread text, including in the text box when typing
• make it so the entire user card is 1 color, not 2 (there's a darker box around the username, ranks and rep).
  
• reduce brightness of the scrollbars, they should not attract attention the way they do now, especially near SB.
• the grey boxes around the timestamps in SB are not needed, or at least should not be that bright, it looks ugly. Maybe make it just a tad lighter or darker than SB background, but only so you really need to look for it.
• The dropdown arrows next to people's names in the SB user list is nearly impossible to see, so much so that people thought it wasn't there.
• make the changeable color changeable only for the bars, or make the section titles so that they'll always remain readably bright but adapt their hue.\
• Thread meta tags put in by the thread creator should not be publicly displayed at the top of the thread.
• The white stroke on shoutbox user profiles should be a different color and thinner
  
• Links in shoutbox should go back to light blue instead of white to stand out as links
• Banned users' messages now have gray filters over the entire message, making it almost impossible to read scam reports and any messages by banned members. This should be removed, or at least changed so that it is once again properly legible
• Desaturate/darken the white bars in the "reactions given/received" tab on user profile

To start with: There is a HUGE contrast / jump of colors in the dark theme, which doesnt make it very pleasant to the eyes. Also you cant make out the difference between sticky and normal threads. For Example:

also if you look closely in the dark theme images, and everything, Yep the colors are pretty bright, so I suggest you change those or probably bring down the brightness.

For the love of God, and all that is holy, please change the default thread body font to Roboto (the one Mc-Market is currently using for the website).

There's a huge difference.

Current font:

Remove the box around the shoutbox message time stamps. I think it sticks out more than it needs to.

Focusing on the dark theme as that's what I use.

Too much contrast in some places, not enough in others. Stick to one style. White borders around the avatars make no sense (dark theme). Not enough padding on half the elements. Tags are too small. A lot of design inconsistency, for example, you don't see this border style anywhere else.

Example of lack of padding:

Elements within the page content which are darker than the page background and therefor stick out WAY too much considering they aren't even the most important info on the page.

Literally this entire bar makes me want to grow bamboo through my chest.

More darkness all over the place.

This "NEW" label is just sad. It's unnecessary and ugly. The forum cells look so much better without it. There's no need to add the label when the forum is already highlighted in blue when there's new posts.

It's completely clear which one of these is read and which isn't.

I'm sure I'll find more things to moan about, but that's it for now.

This is disgusting. I have no other word for it.

I mean no offense to anyone who designed this theme when I say anything I have in this post. I like to complain and I'm very particular about my styles. I also enjoy a good bit of banter.

It helps that a lot of the suggested changes have already been implemented. The title text used to be pure white, which was such a strong contrast that looking at it for any length of time made your eyes hurt. One of the fastest parts to be changed.
now it's just mostly visual bugfixing.
