Hey everyone,

As you may or may not know, there has been a couple of incidents here on MC-Market lately. We need to work together in order to ensure this doesn't happen again. I believe that this is a good opportunity to highly encourage everyone to change their passwords and enable two-step verification on your account to ensure its security.

Changing your password is easy and takes only a minute. Simply go to http://www.mc-market.org/account/security to change your password. The instructions should be self-explanatory. Try to choose a strong password that's at least 8 characters long, contains both uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and at least 1 special character.

Enabling two-step verification is relatively quick and painless. Personally, I would highly encourage the app option as opposed to the email option. To enable two-step verification on your account, go to http://www.mc-market.org/account/two-step. You'll be required to confirm your password and then you'll be able to enable two-step verification. Just follow the instructions that appear on the screen. This will ensure that an attacker needs more than just your username and password to access your account.

If you have any questions or need any assistance with changing your password or enabling two-step verification on your account, feel free to contact me and I would be delighted to help you get your account secured.

That is all.

I've waited like 10 minutes, and 2 step auth was supposed to send a code to my email when it hasn't :/
Use the app option. The email option isn't that secure, as your email could be compromised as well.
