Cheapest Minecraft Hosting?

Minespan.com. $1.50 per GB of RAM. I've yet to see a single legit hosting beat it.
That said, their servers are NOT the best optimized for large amounts of players. its good to start off with or stay with if you're planning to be a small server. more than 50 players may prove a problem regardless of the package.
That said, WulfHosting is equally cheap up to 8 GB, but according to their site they're currently under DDOs attack.

I'm currently using fallout hosting so far they have provided decent service. (i have tried 5-6 hosting companies over the past 10 months)
When choosing host keep in mind that cheaper host will be offline more often... By my experience i can say that you will not get far if your server will be off 1-5 days per month. Sure all depends on what you will gonna do with server...if you need it for private needs then you can go with cheap hosts but if you want to make it public then i highly suggest you to don't look for cheapest option...like i said before if your server will be off often then people will not play on it and you will just waste your time and money.

Minespan has been offline (not online for more than a few seconds and not caused by myself) exactly 3 times total since I first started using them more than a year ago, one of which was scheduled maintenance. The other 2 were unexplained errors that lasted 1 hour max.
How much?
I've had many servers in my day and the max players I got was 40, so I think it's pretty stable to use the hosting you're suggesting.

Edit: I like that you are provided with a lot of ram but I need more like 30 player slots rather than 20 or 40.
