Can I use a type A to to Type B usb to connect my monitor to my computer?

Try it? Not sure of how many monitors work via USB though. HDMI maybe, VGA/DVI of course too.

I'm waiting on my 2 other monitors, just wanted to check to see if I would need any other cords if it doesn't work that way.

Gotcha, ya just get any ol regular USB A to B cable and you'll be set, it will probably come with one.

If it is working like a conversion type thing, ya it will work, speeds will be poor most likely, due to it converting constantly and not using HDMI, but in the short, ya it should

Let me specify, you need a monitor that is built specifically to receive it's video through USB to run it that way. There are some out there. Assuming that is not what you bought, sometimes monitors still come with one so that they can have a built in usb hub.

So it is possible, maybe not with the ones you're getting, but it can be done.

As for where it comes from, not %100 sure. I want to say "it's video, so it has to come from either a video card, on-board, or CPU based source." But I've not worked with USB and video streaming before.

Always use HDMI if you can. Increases quality, frames, speeds, monitor ms, etc

USB < Composite < VGA < DVI < HDMI < Display Port
Use the best you can.

So displayport is always the best? TBH I'm using DVI right now, and I don't see much of a difference though?...

DVI to HDMI is a huge difference, HDMI to Displayport is a difference in more sharpness, not really huge.

HDMI can run 1080P @ 60Hz, but at 4K can only run @ 30Hz.
If you want to run 4K @ 60 Hz, you'll need DisplayPort.

Well typically a USB port on a monitor is for things like Intel Sticks or Chromecasts or using a mouse/keyboard with a smart TV.
So I'm not really sure you're going to be able to transmit an image through it, as that's what it sounds like you're trying to do.

I am pretty sure I have seen a usb used as a display before but it is rare, would be one odd gpu
