Hey, I'm selling my server copynet.us, this server contains two subnetworks and one that is completely finished (CopyPixel).

This contains over 9 working games and is 'just like hypixel' according to players who join.

This server contains no leaked code from 'hypixel' and contains the following minigames, Zombies, Duels, Duels 4v4, SkyWars Solo, SkyWars Teams, Mega SkyWars, Murder Mystery, Build Battle, (Survival Games will be fixed when sold).
We also have a prototype lobby.
I recommend you join and look around if you would like to find out more information as this thread is currently not complete.
Features:
Daily rewards - Yes we have a daily rewards that requires the user to head to the site then type /redeem in game.
Mystery Boxes - contains 1star to 5star boxes.
And more features will be displayed here soon.

Is there a Playerbase?
Yes and no, players will join at times while there are other players are online, we paid for a twitch streamer to stream and we hit a total of 48 people online!
Is the legal?
Yes, this is totally legal as 1, we are not using the networks code and 2, we are not referring to it anywhere in game.

Bid start price: $150
Bid increasement: $15
Bin: $1000
P.S: this includes the domains and files excluding the premium plugins that we use. (We use around 4or5 premium plugins)
P.P.S: typed up from my phone, excuse any mistakes aswell as not all information is shown. The reason I'm selling is because of IRL issues.

This server looks exceptionally well, i can see you making good money off of this, Good Luck! And also i hope you sort out those "IRL issues"

looks like a very well setup server, but also just asking to get sued ;P

also bedwars is completely broken and messages aren't the same

Read 'Is this Legal' servers like fakeplex and hackplex used there code, therefore they could of got sued.

Just a heads up, this server is under investigation by Hypixel. "The reason I'm selling is because of IRL issues." This statement in a lie.

GLWS, but any server owner who doesn't want to take an extraordinary risk won't look into buying this. It's one thing to have gamemodes that are similar in feel to Hypixel's and to have complete documentation that you own all of your code that you are claiming as custom, but it's another thing to try to get by riding off of their coattails.

Even the idea of using their maps by itself is sketchy and is not 100% legal as they own the intellectual property of their maps. That alone is enough to make most people second guess whether or not they want to spend $1,000 on a network that they could make themselves for a bit less than that with a world downloader mod and a reputable developer.

You might want to reconsider your statement that this is 100% legal, which it is not.

Who would trust someone who is ban evading, as well as you cannot copyright minecraft content according to CalebApplegate (contacted him regarding this, MinePlex COO). Hypixel thinks that we are using there code, not regarding "copyright of a style of a server"

They don't need to trust me, I'm just adding the info you missed out in your main post. It would be good if you could provide evidence that Minecraft content can't be copyrighted, rather than a quote from someone.

Maybe you should have checked these laws a bit more:
1) https://www.gov.uk/copyright
2) https://www.gov.uk/patent-your-invention
3) https://www.gov.uk/register-a-design

I think that their investigation could also span you using their maps for commercial purposes without their permission, which alone is illegal. Even if it were restricted to just the argument of using copyrighted code, if your server isn't using any proprietary code of theirs, then surely you'd be happy to show that you are using either publicly available plugins (free or premium), or prove ownership of source code.

You cannot copyright minecraft content unless if its a plugin or artwork, so things like maps/builds, style of a game cannot be copyrighted. read the EULA
