Hey, I'm selling my server copynet.us, this server contains two subnetworks and one that is completely finished (CopyPixel).

This contains over 9 working games and is 'just like hypixel' according to players who join.

This server contains no leaked code from 'hypixel' and contains the following minigames, Zombies, Duels, Duels 4v4, SkyWars Solo, SkyWars Teams, Mega SkyWars, Murder Mystery, Build Battle, (Survival Games will be fixed when sold).
We also have a prototype lobby.
I recommend you join and look around if you would like to find out more information as this thread is currently not complete.
Features:
Daily rewards - Yes we have a daily rewards that requires the user to head to the site then type /redeem in game.
Mystery Boxes - contains 1star to 5star boxes.

Is there a Playerbase?
Yes and no, players will join at times while there are other players are online, we paid for a twitch streamer to stream and we hit a total of 48 people online!
Is the legal?
Yes, this is totally legal as 1, we are not using the networks code and 2, we are not referring to it anywhere in game.

I think that their investigation could also span you using their maps for commercial purposes without their permission, which alone is illegal. Even if it were restricted to just the argument of using copyrighted code, if your server isn't using any proprietary code of theirs, then surely you'd be happy to show that you are using either publicly available plugins (free or premium), or prove ownership of source code.

The thing is with copyright laws (In the UK at least) copyright doesn't only protect the exact replica of your work, but also protects people from making an "adaptation of your work". See here: https://www.gov.uk/copyright

You cannot copyright minecraft content unless if its a plugin or artwork, so things like maps/builds, style of a game cannot be copyrighted. read the EULA

Can you read? The gov.uk copyright page states "making an adaptation of your work". You can make something from the beginning, not just an edit.

To my knowledge, United States copyright laws have a similar clause in their legislature.

Their builds, style, and all other works by Hypixel Inc. are intellectual property of theirs, and as such even "adaptations" (which doesn't just mean editing, attempted copycats which use their style are still adaptations) are protected and not allowed under copyright law.

(Obligatory "I'm not a lawyer and I'm not giving legal advice" for obvious reasons, but this stuff is pretty common sense and obviously a pending investigation should be enough to request that this sale thread be locked at least for the time being considering no one should be tricked into buying a server that is currently pending legal investigation)
