Cracked servers

Hello,

Say if I were to make a cracked server, how would I proceed to getting a playerbase, and avoid hackers, since you can easily change your name and come back on. Would I just IP ban them? Any tips? I don't play minecraft, but the only reason I would like to make a minecraft server is because of the playerbase, I'm not really worried about donations...

That is true, but I highly doubt people would be on a VPN/Proxies if they are using cracked mc.

Pretty sure you can just get one of those Password Protection Plugins.

It is, but playerbase, I don't have the money for that.

before making a cracked server you have to keep in mind, you wont get so much donations since most players cant buy minecraft, you will need Anti-VPN and every hacker you have to ipban. you will need A LOT of antihacks plugins.

How many people really use cracked accounts?
Like now with the new launcher you cant just put in a username without a password and play the game... So you need to get say a custom client or whatever.

Making a cracked server would be like 10 times harder than a regular server...

Tons of people, true but it pays off with the playerbase.

playerbase isnt worth much in cracked servers, not much people like to pay for cracked servers. also cracked servers get hacked a lot of times

Yah cracked servers get alot of donations with people who cant even afford minecraft...

The server will have no funding... and wouldn't be worth to put up with the hacks.

Youd have to find a list of vpn ips and ban them all
active staff
