no particular time, it just bugs me and i assume my staff when they write the same message over and over for new players. I would think that players would read a welcome book that they have on join but alas this new generation is impatient
Doesnt bother me who does it, and a public plugin for this should give you a lot of downloads, im not sure why there isnt one already haha. Just to confirm what i mean, a new player joins for the first time and the server broadcasts 'player has joined for the first time'
what i want is only the new player to see the welcome motd like so
but if he logs out and then comes back in he is just a regular member and doesnt need to see this anymore and sees the usual motd of whatever i have put for the server when you log in

Ac3d another simple option: Have a newbie spawn point(Set in essentials by default you can just go in-game and do /setspawn newbie) have a pressure plate on the spawn point linking to a CMD block telling them the information. Hope this helped goodluck!
