Dedicated server - HELP & Advice

I'm needing a dedicated server for my HCF server.

How many servers are you running: 1
How many players: 200 - 300 on SOTW (start of the world)

I also need a setup as I know nothing about dedicated servers.

If anyone could fill me in and what plans I should go for and help for setup, that would be great.

I don't have a budget for dedi's atm, looking for shared.
If I was to get a VPS it would have to be cheap and I would also need help [DOUBLEPOST=1489782621][/DOUBLEPOST]I may use https://clovux.net/, has any used them or know anything about these guys?

Clovux is what I've been using for a long time, their price might seem initially expensive but you can pm them since you're MCM member for a discount like I have back when they just made their thread in the early days of their hosting thread making

I'm currently using them at the moment, but I'm going to use a VPS for my next map and need someone who could help setup one up.

Plus I need some advice whether I should use this OVH plan.

They don't provide any host within central area in the US so latency down towards south get real bad ping towards NA.

It says on their plan that they provide DdoS protection? and it's more cheaper, why should I use a host? I don't mind using a host, just need some advice on which one and to my budget-range.

Yes correct or a location where all US players gets atleast a 5 bar constantly towards the server. As for now NA players get that good latency whereas people down south get 3 - 4.

That's the thing, I need advice to which I should use etc.

Yeah, well I've been told to not use a VPS for the amount of players I'm getting and TPS will drop quite a bit. They said I should go for a dedi or shared hosting.

There's no actual good premium host out there, but if you know any, please drop it down for me?

Is this for shared hosting? How good is performance?

Also people say 480 GBPS is just a advertisement marketing skill which makes a host look better. Could someone tell me why this is used and what is decent to have on a server? most host to 40GBPS but I still think that's low.
