Hello MCM community,

I am looking for a dedicated server to host my Minecraft server and website, along with a few other applications, such as Virtual Machines. Below is a description of what I am looking for with the dedicated server.

Price: Would like to stay under $90 a month if possible.

Processor: Would like the server to have either an Xeon E3 or E5 processor, will consider other processors too.

RAM: Would prefer something that has between 32-64 GB of RAM, not looking for anything under 32 GB of RAM.

Storage: Would prefer something like a 2x2TB Hard Drive or 2x480GB SSD configuration. Will consider other options though.

Network: Would prefer Gigabit connection if possible, looking to avoid anything lower than 250 MB/s.

Other Notes: If possible, I would like the ability to access the server via KVM/IPMI, in the event I need to diagnose something with the OS or configuration, or if I need to install a custom OS. I also would like the server to have 5 IP addresses included, for future expansion purposes. I would also like it to have Windows Server 2016, which I have my own key for.

Looking forward to considering your offers. I appreciate everyone's help in advance.

Thanks,
Morphtato

Any reason on why you are not buying from OVH/SYS? You can get your specs with them.

I'm working with Morphtato. We decided to not go with OVH/SYS/Kimsufi. Here are the reasons:
Kimsufi:
- We can't get the specs here.
- No additional IPs.
- Who would go with this?
- We never went with this one for the above.
SYS:
- We started out with this, hyper visor didn't work right.
- KVM is way to pricey ($30 for 1 day, we would need this to get hyper visor working)
OVH:
- Has KVM for free so we moved from SYS.
We bought a server listed as 120 second in the location we bought it in, we never received it. We contacted them after 24 hours and they said internal billing error. They also said we would have to wait, they never gave us a time frame on how long. We received the refund after contacting them again because we never gained access to the server so they were able to give us the refund. Refund took 72 hours to have the money back in our possession. Were pretty much done with OVH after this, and we always wanted to switch off of OVH eventually.
