Dedicated US Hosting

Hello. I have been hopping from host to host recently and am just not satisfied with any of these smaller hosts. I am now simply interested in finding a powerful budget dedicated server for myself. My friend who does the same pixelmon server stuff I do told me about OVH host where he has an SSD-3 32GB server for around $50 a month he was telling me! I'm willing to pay $60 for something like that, and am currently paying $38 a month on a pebble host Extreme 8gb 2 dedicated thread server. Which I keep trying to tell myself is a rip off, and wondering why I'm paying so much for the extra dedicated thread when I could get twice the ram... But that's why I'm here. Just to try to put myself out there and collect valuable information. Thanks. And don't try to sell me a shit server for one month just to have me go somewhere else please. I just need someone reliable to sell me a server that I can maintain for years.

EDIT: btw a lot of hosts resell from this company. also they have great ddos protection and etc

also it may be in germany but still. it has 1 gbps uplink

Hetzner DDOS protection is "meh" at best. There are thing you can do to improve DDOS Protection while using their services, but overall, it's pretty bad.
