Just wanted to point out that while this is possible, discord limits your account to X pms a day. I have tried this before and got an account locked after a few minutes of use

However if you tried it on a bot account it hit that ratelimit way faster. User accounts have way more loose ratelimits that can be abused to infinity.
Discord is basically offering people a user client that abuses their API.
