Why is DM ADS still exist? Should they be entirely restricted by all MC community? Why?

I have seen a few servers, no matter it is related or non-related to Minecraft. The owner(s)/management will always refuse they are part of it. Yet, the most beneficial side is always themselves, except they have to deal with some people joined and accuse about why are they using bot in their DM. However, those people are often banned (instantly) by the management when the people bring up the topic relates with the DM bot.

I also notice, most of these type of servers they might be using an alt account on discord for their owner/founder roles. It just felt like they are well prepared to get banned/restricted by Discord when they are exposed. So magical, so funny.

Tell me your thoughts and methods to prevent them down in the comment section.

To clarify, I start this conversation is purely for discussion. Do not meant to accuse or slander any servers. There is no personal emotion and does not mean I support the act of it.

Those people who DM ads you would make sure you don't have the common servers with them so you can reply to them.

Here is funny situation I had just now.
I will constantly upload here if I get anymore dm ads. More images (click into the link)

They don't use alt accounts, they buy so called Discord Tokens. Which are basically logins of a Discord account that you can get for really cheap sadly. They send all the members on a server a PM with their advertisement. You can only do 1 thing to "prevent" them for messaging you, and that is to turn off DMs you get from server members on the server it self. (Right click server icon in the list > privacy settings.)

That's it, there no other way to prevent this from happening. Just ask your members to report the UserID as soon as they get a message so you can ban them immediately and prevent them to message the other members.

It doesn't load when you click into it. But, I can see it on the thread.
It does now indeed :D

I guess that is the only way to go then. Thanks for your suggestion.
