Guys, some times they decline rep and doesn't send you an alert, so its better to open a support request.

Usually when I report a rep, they get it done within a day max. But recently, its taken longer than 2 weeks and i'm still waiting on a response. Oh well

Yes, but they don't care about the rep reports as long as they get their cash they are good.

From what I’ve seen, the first part is true in many cases, but I know that the second part isn’t.

Handling of reports severely lacks structure and many times, rather than getting involved and deciding whether the rep is valid or not, you just get told something along the lines of “resolve it with the other person yourself.” But what if the other person is completely unreasonable, toxic and immature? What then? Can’t you get it reviewed by someone who can see this and be reasonable? Personally when I handled rep reports, I always tried to see myself in the position of the person who is reporting the rep. If it happened to me, I’d want it to be sorted out quickly, reasonably and fairly. I’d want someone to care and decide what’s fair and if I disagreed with their decision, I’d like to be able to talk to them easily and get an explanation as to why.

Obviously I don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes, but I see a lot of users saying that either their reports went unanswered or they were told to just talk to the other person. What I can say though and I won’t name anyone, is that in the past I’ve seen speeding through reports and marking them as “resolved” with no alert sent. After I checked the reported “resolved” reputation, I saw that it was still there. So I certainly hope that this isn’t happening again and that reports aren’t being rushed through and marked as resolved with no alert. I spoke to M6Gaming some months ago and he said he noticed the exact same thing, so I’m glad I’m not the only one who saw it.

As for your second part, I can assure you that it’s not for the money because it’s on a per-report basis and isn’t much. It just seems like rushing to get things done.

It's a very poor system. I only ever see the very reputable people getting their false reps removed. I think you may have better luck than others. It took me a month to get my gift giver badge so imagine how long it will take for them to read the entire 3 false reps on your profile. gl

I have 2 false reps as well and I doubt they'll ever get lifted tbh.

That’s the thing. A year or more ago, a few users would complain about the site in some way and most of the time community argues against them and says that they were overreacting and that things are fine, and that’s because they were. Now people complain about things and the whole community chimes in in perfect harmony because they are legitimate complaints about problems that need to be addressed and resolved but simply aren’t. I always fought for what I thought was right when I was a mod. If the administration had views I disagreed with, I presented my point well and made it clear that I think things should be done differently. I wasn’t afraid to criticize what I thought needed to be fixed. For example, the minecraft account section. After Mojang’s lock wave, it was removed because nobody knew what was going on and it wasn’t considered safe anymore. So I set out to better understand how it works and find a way to fix it. I presented my arguments and solutions, but nothing got done. Then came Ajdin and his thought process was: Alright. Address the problem, find a solution and let’s make it work. And that’s exactly what I did. I had already done my research and I presented it to BeBosny and we recognized the flaws in the old selling system and worked hard to make a new one that combatted scamming and has been working amazingly for 2 years now. The restoration of the Minecraft section was big news to everyone and near-instantly, the section was buzzing with activity again and bringing in many new members as well. Why? All because our thought process was “I recognize there’s a problem, let’s find a way to fix it.” Rather than “There’s a problem, let’s just toss everything out and ignore it.”

This site has many problems that need to be fixed, but they’re not being addressed and users are recognizing it. Everyone is tired of being told “We can’t do this because it’s too hard.” or “It’ll be resolved soon.” and then nothing being done. Honestly, threads like this pop up every day now, multiple times. It was never this bad before. This should be a sign that maybe some work needs to be done and I hope that is recognized and things get done, but I feel that I’m being very optimistic by saying that, given the current circumstances.

Very well put. Exactly what the workflow was like.

I feel like as long as Mick is getting his monthly revenue stream he won't really make any large changes. Not sure why. Perhaps he's too scared that his changes might backfire?

Usually the people asking this question are the ones who report the reputation over and over again thinking it will get magically pushed to the front of the queue.

If you report something, if goes to the back of the queue. If you report the same thing again, guess what, it goes to the back of the queue again.

Report content once and have patience.
You remove my positive reputation but not my negative reputation is there a reason?
