Do you think schools have gone too far?

My school has no bullying, at least not one that I could see. Actually, students tend to be more rude to teachers than to one another, and they seem to suck it up and forgive immediately even though they could get that kid’s ass fucked. They just want the children to succeed I guess rather than get revenge, so they too develop some kind of self humor, which contributes to class environment. (The more “superior” teachers seem to take offense and yell back at them and maybe even punish).

I think the school should interfere with bullying behavior even outside of it’s boundaries just like any other framework. If you were to being a bully and had a job, expect to be fired. In school, instead of kicking you out they try to educate you for a better behavior.

Even though vaping is pretty gay you shouldn't get in-trouble for doing it outside of school. That's your parent's responsibility. As long as it isn't hurting someone inside of the school or the school why should they have the right to butt in?

One thing that blew me away about vaping is that in the U.S. you’re legally allowed to buy and own a vape at 18 yet at my school if you were caught vaping outside of school you could get detention regardless of whether or not your 18. So school rules are on a higher authority than the law apparently.

Also it’s pretty dumb how people are getting drug tested in school when they do drugs out of school. I personally think drug testing (if you’re not in sports) is not right for the school to do

I only had a problem with one of my actual teachers in high school. She hated the fact that I acted like an adult/acted older than my age. It was my AP Psychology teacher and she would ask us random questions about how our parents raised us and she couldn't believe that my parents allowed me to do whatever I wanted and said I was probably irresponsible. It didn't help the fact that her class was a complete blowoff and I aced all her tests without taking notes, something she also hated about me.

I don't disagree with the fact that kids shouldn't be doing drugs but I also don't think detention/suspension is going to do anything productive.

Yes schools do go to far in my school personally if a kid have for example weed outside of school they get in trouble inside of school just for having it outside its pretty strange.
