And this is what I morally have the most issue with. This is true, only with dreadful consequences of many "innocent" lives caught in the decisions of a minority (politically powerful individuals). The rest of your post makes sense to me, but I can not agree on this as I am coming from the perspective that even if we do have "mutually assured mass destruction on all sides", it is not a morally valid reason to justify the mass elimination of many human lives.
I most definitely agree with you that it is far from morally correct. Quite honestly, nothing in this world is morally right anymore. However, it simply comes down to protection. I would rather be protected by the concept of mutually assured risk than be susceptible to attack without a chance of defense or reaction.

it wont matter, the first ones to get rid of their nukes will basically become hostages. highly doubt every nation would get rid of their nukes at the SAME EXACT TIME. they keep them just in case, everyone has them chilling and thats one of the reasons why we're at peace

There will always be innocent lives lost in a war or through terrorism. If anything, the impending threat of nuclear weapons helps diminish unnecessary lives lost. Morally wrong or right, it doesn't matter in warfare. There are already idiotic "limitations" set in place by things such as the UN, that doesn't actually stop the "wrong" people from doing what they want. On top of that you want to take away some of the most efficient and effective weaponry there is?

I know I should've expected you troll posters on a block game forum, but come on. I'm legitimately trying to convey my altruistic interest to rid of these real weapons to our real world that is in NO ONE's best interests to continue threatening the use or even the possession of nukes.

Please reconsider your posts and be mature.
This isn't like some adult forum, there are many kids here, that come from a video game. Minecraft. This is a Minecraft forum and idk why this is brought up to people who aren't old enough.

A legitimate serious topic that I'd like to share my views/do my part in helping the cause

TDLR sign your email up to notonukes.org and share the awareness of this for political pressure to be enacted on our countries to get rid of the dreadful mass destructive weapon.

The video basically states that no country or organization is even nearly ready for a real life dense city nuke disaster. Its simply too overwhelming and there'd be many many lives that will perish as there will be no resources toward recovering from such a disaster.

As much it would be nice to live in a world where there is no nukes, it really isn't going to happen.

To a certain extent, nuclear weapons are somewhat good. For an example, if tensions between Russia and America heat up again, I seriously doubt that there would be a catastrophic war (nuclear). One country would NEVER go into a nuclear war as it would be the worst thing to happen. The whole reason nuclear weapons really are here is to intimidate the neighboring nuclear countries.
To a certain extent, you can think back to a nuclear war being like N.A.T.O. If one country attacks one of the countries in the organization, the whole organization would attack that country (Russia nukes America or any other country for an example, America uses its nukes and bad stuff would happen.)
Though, nuclear weapons are the world's deadliest weapons.

I'd like to take you to a story back in the years.
Once the Soviet Union was somewhat a known regime, they had a country called Georgia in it. Georgia wanted to leave the Soviet Union and become a peace country. At that time, Russia had given lots of deadly weapons to the Soviet countries such as nukes.
Georgia wanted to give back all of their military and nukes back to Russia and the the deal was going lovely until they had given all the nuclear weapons back to Russia and Russia invaded Georgia.

Hopefully that example shows somewhat of the chances that nuclear weapons are going to be used - no country in the world wants a nuclear fallout.

Now, happy thoughts.

Edit, I don't really agree to the post about this as I believe that it is important that everyone should know about these weapons and everyone is mature enough to understand these weapons.

There's also very specific things you have to do in order to actually launch a nuke, so the chance of a "small group of people" all getting done with everything at the exact same moments to do the corresponding actions together, is very slim.

Because it will be kids who will soon enough be joining the voting polls to influence the policies that our world goes through. Country by country, bit by bit.

If you watched the video, this would be a disaster on a whole new level, one that not even emergency responses can get to within a few days or a week. People who will be affected by a nuke in a dense city will not be able to get the help they need in the time they need it.

But by asking them now, they may see this as a way to make this a thing when they grow up, and actually do it. Best to keep it somewhere else, especially cos of the troll posts.
