Basically, It's annoying asking for staff to "prune my thread" and sometimes they forget a message, or don't want to remove it because maybe they posted it or their friend.

So basically, the suggestion is too as a donor, be able to clean their own threads (they made) and remove messages on it.

This will be used by scammers to remove devouches and sellers will remove negative reviews.

If it breaks the rules or you want a prune, report it.

It's not the users job to remove posts. We have a moderator team for that and it's usually done within 24 hours.

If someone is a scammer just make a scam report

And if a thread needs to be pruned, report it.

I'm more worried about people censoring negative reviews of their service.

For example if someone has a setup service and they lock someone out of their dedicated server and can't fix it, as a buyer you'd want to know about this so you can decide if you want to use their service or not. By allowing members to delete posts from their threads, it will be misguiding to buyers who may have a similar incident happen to them.

I think this should be a donor perk, only if you have so much rep, for example if you have 1,000+ REP, than you can do this, and you're a donor.
There's no such thing as "1,000+ REP" it's reactions, lol

I get the sentiment, I've had random people talking shit in threads and on profile too (latter can be removed). but it's best to just leave it to staff to remove them, since otherwise it'll be too easy to remove devouches and similar objections that are legit.

also, PLEASE STOP trying to use REACTIONS/RATINGS AS A BENCHMARK!
It's SO FUCKING EASY to FARM up to 1000 reactions or whatever number, if you have motivation to do so. and if having a number like that gives any sort of perks, you betcha people will be farming the shit out of them. sure, it'll take time. but if it allows you to kick anyone who says anything negative about (legit or not) you out of your thread, it's worth the effort.

I think this should be added BUT Whenever you prune it, it isn't deleted. It's hidden from public view. And staff can make it a certain messages can't get pruned :)

Also, yes I do know it's staff jobs to do it. But if you want a nice clean restart on your thread, do this :)

What if people have left vouches?
Ask the OP To re-post it, or staff can do the same as above :)
Manual prune, so individual posts maybe... Thread wide wouldn't be wise
