Why do you estimate its a $1000 project? you don't know what I need in the web, you just estimated is a thousand dollars project cause I want something similar to faceit? its actually pretty basic what i need, just a few pages, a store and user menu  don't read what those others say.
I have experience within the field: stores, user menus, and other alike back-end intensive applications take time develop. Both in terms of being designed well as well as being secure. That being said, I would estimate the true value of the project to be in the thousands simply because that's the amount of work, time, and effort is worth for the developer who takes on this project. I'm only giving you a rough estimate of the prices you should expect from developers who want to take on this project.

Before you rebut my statement: professional developers would agree with me that this is a very high budget project.

well you seem pretty expensive to me, i already got several offers for less than $40 for the whole project, maybe you should reconsider your prices cause this isn't something that can take ages of work or an expert to be made! Thanks for the advice tho!

Good luck with the project then. Hopefully the developer you chose knows how to use meteor.js, then this project could get fully complete (back-end wise) in about 1-2 weeks.

I've been making websites and software for more or less 11 years and I can guarantee you that unless it's really, really, REALLY simple, $40 is going to get you an overly-confident beginner who will only riddle you with security issues. I advise that once you get some basic revenue from whatever it is this is, you look into getting someone to remake it. You really don't want to be stuck in the mud with heaps of vulnerabilities just sitting there like a ticking time bomb.

Perhaps not. I'm not saying you do. I just recommend doing it if this brings in revenue. I've only really read the comments and taken about a second to look at a screenshot. I have no idea what you want. :)

Lol what
In what universe do you live I wanna go there

making a store is such a huge deal it takes time to make it secure and even usable
especially if you mix in let's say paypal api, user account and admin panel

Go to a professional company and ask for the price and then say something
I often saw people offer 3000$ just for the design on sites like upwork so please either do research or actually read what users tell you rather than act childish and ignore all the feedback

Either way I'd suggest either waiting on this project till you are able to afford it or try learning the languages required yourself, will take about a year or two to get it to a point where its usable :)

You are just like all those kids above that wants to be rich, you dont know what i need, im not making a fking big ass company or anything that takes a serious employment and you assume that i need a professional service and stuff.
If you dont like it, leave the post and dont comment again cause i dont give a shit what you think, thanks.
LOL you are talking to a person who has worked on huge projects in the past that pulled thousands of users each day
I am pretty sure that I can give an estimate to a person when they request something

As a matter of fact I am working on a website for a person at the moment who has requested a site with a shop like features, the price is in hundreds at the moment due to the request not being that hard so I can pretty easily say that yours would be in hundreds if not thousand as well

You cant get a single good looking landing page for 40$
I personally start my prices at 50$ (Although some designers start lower and its completely fine) the price grows as the person gets more advance and has better knowledge of both the language and the design aspect so please if you plan on continuing to disrespect web design/development community just leave, thanks.
