What is the best starter editing software?

Sony vegas 14, watch alot of youtube tutorials, especially with sapphire

I don't know how to use that, it's not easy either

It's terrifying when you first see it but once you learn the basic hotkeys etc, its really easy

I am using Camtasia, it is really useful if you want to start from somewhere

I personally use Premier Pro, but when I was looking for the same software because I didn't want to pay the amount Adobe offers, I did my own research. I highly recommend Hitfilm Express (it's free and simple) and would definitely recommend it as a nooby editing software especially if you don't know if you like editing or not without throwing $200 at one of the bigger/more advanced softwares available.
