Unfortunately, this Christmas came with a few presents which we would rather not receive. However, we have received them and due to this, we have determined that it is best to force all Premium and Supreme members to enable two-factor authentication. We want to assure you that we did not do this to be a pain to you in any way. Rather, it is for the security of our members and for MC-Market as a whole.

Most of the well known members are at least premium

He would only target accounts with high rep and most non premiums dont have much rep, you can still enable it manually in your control panel if you want

Pretty sure normal users get 2FA but it's not required like it is for donators, but I get your point

2FA is something that's advertised as a premium/elite feature, which is why I am assuming it's only available to those users.

The accounts that were being targeted were those that had the ability to speak in the shoutbox, so it's only logical we force it for people who need it to be forced for.

Two-step authentication is available on all accounts, regardless of whether or not you have paid anything.
