Essentials Chat Error with ⮚

I've wrote this in the config for essentials.

format: '{DISPLAYNAME} ⮚ {MESSAGE}'

But every time I talk in chat the arrow shows up as [] instead of this ⮚.

Any idea on what I can do to fix this?

It is doing that as the file isn't in UTF-8. If you use DeluxeChat the issue will be fixed without you having to do anything.
