They're making servers bad by enforcing anti-pay2win? really?Mojang is making MineCraft servers bad by doing these things.. What do they want ?? 0% servers and only singleplayer ? How will owners pay lag-free hosting now ? It's impossible without donations..
Cracked Servers too since they do not go under mojangs authentication serversCant we make like a 1.6.4 server and have it protocalled hacked or something?
I believe 1.6.4 was before they made you set the eula to true.

Also, ever heard of crowdfunding?
If I was a server owner, I'd start a patreon page or a gofundme or something similar. say you need 100 per month to be able to run lag-free. instead of buying a $50 rank once, people could chip in with $1 apiece, or maybe $2. You could then have your patrons gain access to any minigames going up early, keep them updated on new additions and consider their suggestions.
I was replying to a specific person, and that IS why they are mad....
Not why people are mad.
I totally disagree. If you don't want donors to have be overpowered, get on a server where they don't sell super overpowered things and only make it where you donate you don't have to spend as much time on the server.I have no idea why people are going crazy about this. Mojang is doing the right thing. we all know that rich overpowered noobs who donated with protection 9999 diamond armours and sharpness 9999 diamond swords make the game less equal and fun...
That's completely beside the point. when you made a server, you agreed to not make it pay2win. They're now cracking down on anyone that made it pay2win, as they have every right to do. If you don't like it, switch to cracked.I totally disagree. If you don't want donors to have be overpowered, get on a server where they don't sell super overpowered things and only make it where you donate you don't have to spend as much time on the server.
The EULA isn't the Law xDSeveral of my friends are even mad about the "new EULA changes", and I'm like... the EULA, for the most part as it is now, has been around since like 2012. Mojang has every right to enforce they're EULA; every company does!
If a server cannot follow the LAW for pete's sake, then hell yas take 'em down Mojang!
From what I just got from Google: Breaking a EULA is considered a breach of contract (which is often considered property infringement) and several courts have upheld their legitimacy. So you're right it's not the law (my bad) but you can still get in trouble. The EULA isn't the Law xD
I get that the servers are the majority of the playerbase, but here's some thoughts:To be honest if all the servers said no to the Eula, I don't think Mojang would take then all down as the servers make the mast vajority of Minecraft's player base.

I get that the servers are the majority of the playerbase, but here's some thoughts:
- Mojang didn't intend to let servers like Hypixel or other non-vanilla servers host the majority of players. The fact that those servers hold the majority of players is not bad, but Mojang shouldn't have to cater to them. It's almost like Hypixel and other servers are like another game itself, and you just use Minecraft to play to it.
- I actually like the EULA and I'm glad it's being enforced. (Please don't argue or fight with me over this, if you disagree that's fine, but this isn't the place for a flame war.) When I play on KitPVP servers for example, and there are some guys with just completely OP loot, I have a horrible time and just leave. I would argue that servers would get MORE players because of balanced kits and loot if there WEREN'T donor ranks with OP loot.
- Hypixel is doing a great job with the EULA from what I can see. I'm not certain, but I think for the most part they follow the EULA. Yet they're the largest server ever! Countless other servers do too. If they can follow the EULA and still be successful, then the following the EULA will just make your server better if you can make it successful.
I just feel like Mojang is also tryharding realms too xDAbsolutely!
It's going to be a lot harder for servers to stay alive now or at least fund for their hosts without income.
I hate realms tbh... If they added support for plugins then I'd be in, but at 7.99$ a month it's way overpriced.I just feel like Mojang is also tryharding realms too xD
I know half of my conclusions are not so logical but just thoughts
I mean let's think, if a players wants to spend their own money on a server, there shouldn't be a no for it![]()
This isn't a fact but it's most likely true, they aren't enforcing the EULA to make servers less pay to win. They're just making it harder for servers to stay alive so that people just go ahead and buy realms; increasing their income at the end of the day.I just feel like Mojang is also tryharding realms too xD

Sadly I think you're right, but if they are enforcing the EULA, even for the wrong reasons, I maintain it's actually a good thing. This isn't a fact but it's most likely true, they aren't enforcing the EULA to make servers less pay to win.
