Recently people are talking about the EULA more than ever because Mojang just started enforcing it. EULA stands for Minecraft End User License Agreement. This document of sorts, found on Mojangs website, outlines what is legal or illegal to do inside the game of Minecraft.

For example, the sale of Minecraft accounts is clearly prohibited as stated in the first section of the EULA. This is a perfectly valid reason to disallow selling of them as MCM should want to protect their members from getting SHUT DOWN HAHAHAHHAHAA.

Also, servers can not be pay2win, this means they can only have cosmetics being sold in their stores. Only a few servers have been contacted about this so far, but they have found some innovative ways to go compliant. If you need help changing your server after getting contacted you could PM me :3

I mean, you'd want to follow it even if it isn't enforced on your server (it's kinda like breaking the law but this time there is nobody who cares if you break the law).

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Heard about this, you can also "report" servers with a form on the website, turning the 6 year olds of minecraft into "reporters". As soon as these kids catch on about this, they'll be all over us.

They are going to lose all the people who love donating, pay2win is actually fun, you can get tons of loot on factions servers from kids that donate and are easy to kill or raid.

Completely incorrect. The reason we disallowed accounts was due to the automated system locking accounts that were migrated a certain way, and it would be hard to tell if someone scammed or if an account got locked, making it unstable.

Marc already contacted Mojang's legal team about this a while ago and said that they can't do anything. In fact, we're considering adding accounts back but with ways to hopefully reduce scamming.

Sry but pay2win is horrible.
I said on factions servers, didn't mention anything else It's annoying how 9 year old kids with terrible servers can make hundreds, but if you have a legitimate server that is really good and unique, you should be able to profit off whatever you want.

No its not it kills servers. I remember I went on a regular factions server and left spawn and immediately died to a sharpness 127 sword.
(Server was advertised as a non-op server)

That's because some person probably paid an admin to give them that, exactly what I am talking about with the kids servers with no unique aspect to it whatsoever

Pfft, 127 is nothing. 255 is OP, silly.

What servers have been contacted?.. Im guessing only big servers as of now. Ive only heard of i think Mineplex ever getting contacted..?
YayMC - Aschorren's server got contacted. So did Hypixel and PrimeMC.
So kids, this thread was turned from a self-advertisement thread to a discussion.

LET THE FIRE RISE! GO!
It wasn't meant to self advertise lol it was meant as a discussion (I offered people voluntary help but that isn't promotion :p)
