EULA | Uh.... What?

Recently people are talking about the EULA more than ever because Mojang just started enforcing it. EULA stands for Minecraft End User License Agreement. This document of sorts, found on Mojangs website, outlines what is legal or illegal to do inside the game of Minecraft.

For example, the sale of Minecraft accounts is clearly prohibited as stated in the first section of the EULA. This is a perfectly valid reason to disallow selling of them as MCM should want to protect their members from getting SHUT DOWN HAHAHAHHAHAA.

Also, servers can not be pay2win, this means they can only have cosmetics being sold in their stores. Only a few servers have been contacted about this so far, but they have found some innovative ways to go compliant. If you need help changing your server after getting contacted you could PM me :3

I mean, you'd want to follow it even if it isn't enforced on your server (it's kinda like breaking the law but this time there is nobody who cares if you break the law).

That's what I said... Not "Also I'm an expert on Eula conversion and you need to pm me not anyone else I only charge 499 centimos"

Mojang have not begun enforcing the EULA on servers, they've just sent out emails with vague "may, merely, consider".

They may however come out the blue with more emails with threatening action but so far, nothing.

This is not true, they have enforced on at least 5 huge servers.

Hypixel went EULA compliant ages ago, probably because they were told privately by Mojang.

Mineplex went EULA compliant with Hypixel ages ago too, the same reason too probably.

They were contacted, I never said they went compliant. Mojang didn't vaguely ask them, they enforced, but the servers didn't listen.

That's exactly why they should terminate servers like that and keep the ones that don't do that alive..

Enforced implies something is happening, they are being forced. Arkham is working on it apparentally, I have no idea about PrimeMC or YayMC.

PrimeMC said they were working on it, YayMC said they had some great ideas and told us a few - but neither have finished their conversion yet.
