Most of the time from what I've seen, MC-Market is faster than other large forums like Spigot and TheAdminZone, despite us having a significantly larger homepage. I used Pingdom to do tests (which I prefer over Google anyways) and these are the statistics for it:

I don't think that MC-Market is slow, I think that it's pretty fast considering all of the content, addons, and stuff like that.
