About Me
My name is Brian (IGN: Brob) and I have ran, staffed, and played on faction servers since 2011. I started my first faction server "HossFactions" back in December of 2013. I literally built the server up from scratch with my co-owner, and slowly grew our playerbase and our funds. By April of 2014, we reset the server and were hitting 50-60 players at a time. Then, we also purchased advertising on MCSL slot 3, and we hit over 200 players at peak. At the end of May in 2014, I had to take care of my personal life so I resigned and left it to my co-owner.
Recently, I reopened the server under a slightly different name, "Hoss Nation." My server is doing well and I'm very proud of it. It's only about 4 months old and it's hitting some decent player counts. (You can check my server / website out yourself @ hoss.im)
My server just isn't making enough money though, so I'm looking to use my skills to work for someone else where I can make a steady pay doing what I do now.
What I'm Looking For
I am looking for a larger server network that has an opening for a Factions Manager / Head-Admin. I want a steady salary or possibly a percentage depending on the size of the server. I would prefer to continue running my own server as well, and I have a lot of free time so that shouldn't really be an issue. If it's a conflict of interest, I do have someone in my staff team I can hand it over to, but I'd rather not do that.
My Skills
1) I'm highly experienced at pretty much everything involved in running a server. I know how to configure and use pretty much any plugin, and I know how to make my own small plugins for things that aren't publicly available.
2) I know how faction servers work, and I know how to balance them enough to keep people interested. I have never run or played an OP server, and I have never run (but have played) HCF.
3) I don't really need much coaching. Once I'm hired, it'll maybe take a few days to really understand your style of how you want it, but after that I'm good to go.
