Recently, there's been a growing number of impersonators on MC-Market. They tend to impersonate bigger members in order to trick others into trusting them. Additionally, they can use special characters, specifically on Discord, where apparently you can use greek letters.
So our main victim of impersonation that I'm going to be talking about is asa. He's changed his profile picture temporarily. Asa has recently been posting on his profile that the impersonator is most likely Rheju. I was recently scammed of $500, but I managed to get $200 back, and I currently have a dispute for a refund of $300. Unlike the real Asa, the fake one is desperate, and tends to try to continually attempt to get more and more money from you. Always make sure to verify with Asa on MC-Market to make sure it's the real one, despite anything the Asa you're talking to (and anyone, really) claiming they're real. After sacrificing the money and refunding part of it, I finally asked for verification of ownership. This instantly shut him down. He kept on ignoring the subject and never provided evidence. After a while, I provided evidence proving he was fake, and he removed me. These scammers never win by the way. I know his IP Address because I recovered my gmail that he stole from me, and I also know his location.
Real Asa - Has known verified social media, discord nitro, and rotating ":3" face.

*Profile pictures can change at any time.*
Fake Asa - Spinning HMM emoji and nothing else.

*Lesson to be learned-Never deal with anyone without FULL verification of identity*
Methods of Verifying Identity
- Ask them to screenshot their "User Menu" dropbox on MCM
- Ask them to say something like "Proof of Identity....." on a certain post
- Ask them to screenshot a conversation that you start
- Simply message the real one on MCM, asking if they're talking to you
- (Refrain from trashing threads. Not a method, but a universal rule.)
*I understand the poll should probably belong into the "Suggestions" section, but I'll leave it here. For now.*
