Giving advice and feedback is not trashing a fucking thread. People confuse that shit so fucking often it's just annoying now. If I want to give feedback on a service from what I see, I am going to because it's not against the rules and it's often meant to help the OP offering a service.
He said something this morning on Skype about creating an encryption key. He didn't specify what the encryption key was for though.

Hey sorry I slept in way to long this morning. I need your opinions do you like ownCloud or BeDrive better?
About the scripts: the reason I use scripts is so that I can allow you guys to have a panel that you can access 24/7 and manage your files with. I will only use popular scripts that have been on the market for quite some time for best security.
Encryption: Working with ownCloud and BeDrive I have realized that ownCloud is the only one that has encryption that I can add. So I have made a decision to stick with ownCloud because of their encryption. Now this is encryption for your files! So for any reason that the servers are vulnerable all files will be unable to be seen by the naked eye. This will be a strong encryption but not the strongest because the large the encryption key the slower file uploading, file access, and file viewing will be since it will have to go through the key every time.
We still do have to go along with DMCA take down requests, and laws in the United States of America. This means no child pornography at all, if there is a case of child pornography your account will be terminated and we will be glad to work with the authorities. Under normal circumstances no unauthorized personnel will be allowed to access this server. Unless given a subpoena by a federal judge in the state of Texas, no files or information will be handed out. This will all come shorty in a Privacy Policy and Terms of Service I will be putting together quite soon.

Google's parent company, Alphabet has their website as "abc.xyz" and that doesn't make them appear stupid. A lot of people are considering.xyz to be the next .com. Just because something is not a .com doesn't mean it's not trustworthy and is stupid. I know .xyz isn't the norm and that a lot of TLD's are known for spam, but it doesn't mean every website using those TLD's are the same. If people are actually paying then it should mean that someone is serious. As long as you're not using Freenom (A free domain registrar) for a storage domain then I don't see anything wrong.Update: Also going to add SSL to the website for more security. Update: If you guy's want cheaper storage I have dedicated server that costs me less to maintain. The prices in the image are correct and will only be used if I move to my cheaper less power hungry node.
Only way I will move the server is if I get a couple people committed to purchasing storage monthly. The node has 6TB capacity at the moment though it has 12 bays we are only using 3 bays with 2TB drives. So there is a lot more room to be used.
