Forcing people to pay F&F should be bannable

I personally think PayPal has a great system which is you can pay G&S if you are buying a good or service, and if you are scammed, you can chargeback. Something that bothers me is I see everyone forcing buyers to pay F&F. Unless you are a friend or family of the seller, that is against PayPal TOS and if you are legit, you should be fully equipt to defend against a chargeback if it comes up. This is the cause of 90% of the scams on MCM.

I think that forcing sellers to accept G&S (they would be allowed to ask for extra money for fees) would either: make dealing better for the buyer (because fewer scams would pass as the buyer would chargeback), or it would lead the MCM community away from PayPal and to another payment app/site (which would honestly be good too because PayPal is ass).

If you do use a agree/disagree reaction, I would love to hear your reasoning.

Edit: Argue your hearts out but this is not going to happen. Everyone is selfish and it is buyers vs sellers at this point no one gives a shit about what's right they want what's best for them (I can't blame them).

I think if we all collectively require G&S for payments, people will catch on. We need people to start doing it first. I'd never actually thought about it before, but I'll start doing it.

It's really up to the seller and the buyer to find common ground, making it bannable though is utterly stupid.

You have the same (if not better) protection, which goes for both sellers and buyers, when you have solid terms of service included in a G&S invoice, and, it looks more professional and organized anyway.

Furthermore, whoever doesn't use invoices with set terms is much easier to get scammed or scam and so on as the easiest way to chargeback or get a refund is via F&F payments. Invoices, G&S, and Buyer Protection are all there for a reason, and, it's worth the couple extra bucks either one would pay.

The whole idea of "Forcing people to pay F&F should be bannable" is, in itself, a terrible idea for the market as a whole. Users that do not want to/cannot accept G&S are at a disadvantage in this market and are going to move somewhere else when they either get told off or even banned. With that, the problems that I see listed under F&F exactly correlate to BTC- is that next to be banned?

I Agree i only do fnf or if not its just a no deal but its still their choice if they want to buy or not . I do agree on scammers being a problem but thats only a problem because people dont do their research

Big problem with this With goods and service you can literally call them up and convince the agent to refund you because there is no tracking ID. Instant refunds for anyone who sends g&s FUCK no

And for people saying you can revert it. No you cant Trust me i've dealt with more of them then you will ever imagine. There is no reversing it for any section on this forum besides irl items

Its actually having a fight with a stone when it comes to making people go legit and straight in G&S, specially when the generation has grown to so much salt that no one is to be trusted.
I do agree that PP G&S was meant to be designed for this and this only purpose which is why we shouldn’t be worried. However striking someone’s PP is something i have faced causing alot of my loss :/
F&F is just a way tbh, reality is that we can’t actually can’t trust anyone. Pretty sure the reason why these process are carried using a MM as well.
Even if we ban F&F here we can’t do much of anything over scams. Payment are done over PP and that doesn’t affect abit here.

When you send a payment through PayPal you can either choose to pay through Friends and Family or Goods and Services, he would like to make it so you can pay with Goods and services since 98% of people on here only accepts Friends and Family.
