Fortnite tips & tricks so I can get better?

Can some of the people out there help me to get better at Fortnite?
Any tips or tricks would help.
I have played it for 25 hrs ish, and have one 2nd place and one 3rd place as my best placements. '
I would love if you could help me

agreed, as soon as you see/ hear someone or shooting, build, even if its just 1 ramp or something, its necessary, Even if you have the jump on someone, build a rank for protection and height advantage[DOUBLEPOST=1519764443][/DOUBLEPOST]

I'm not amazing at the game, think I have 95 wins or so however I have learnt a lot. Building is one of the most important ones for me as it can save yourself in many situations. Patience too is another key factor such as when to fire a shotgun/it's reload time and when to push other people. You'll find a play style that will suit you, good luck

There are some sweaty people out there, I have around 60 hours playing time I think. Compare me to the general Fortnite community and I'm really not that good.

oh, i was jking, i have 75 hours played and i have 67 wins solo, if u wanna play some time, im down

If you're going in for the kill on someone and last moment you decide not to, that's a bad idea. You're left in a mess on where to go, what to build, who's around you. If you decide to kill someone, go through with it, as fast as you can. This is what Ninja told everyone once. You have to assume the people you fight will do anything to kill you, if you shoot at him you have to look at your surroundings and think of all the possibilities, he could build straight up, then I could shoot it down & he would be below me. He could go up on the mountain to my right, I'll build some cover on that side so I can't get flanked. Don't just stand there and spray, you have to think like he is thinking, what is the easiest way to kill me? Attempt to counter his builds, his shots, his everything. I once was pretty on top of my game, my mind was working very fast & I acted incredible deducting all possible ways players could kill me, I won the game with 14 kills & in total, I took 4 damage. You need to be thinking constantly about where people are and where they're coming from.
