He has admitted to scamming and alting on his past account. The very fact that he has a past account should be grounds for a ban.

What part of this don't you understand? You are saying that the rules should not apply to your friend but you are not saying any reason to support why that should be the case. Why are other members who alted perm-banned with no second chances or opportunities to redeem themselves?

By your logic, we should unban every member of this site who has scammed or alted because if Skill deserves to be able to just make a new account and start over with no repercussions for his past actions then that should be an option for every single person who has been banned from this website.

I'm not sure if you already know this but his alting was already punished by the previous owner with a 2 month ban.
Just tab searching someone's name in the web directory doesn't mean much if you don't know the story behind it.
Why would a person be punished twice in two separate intervals for the exact same offence?

If you need verification that Handicap = Skill, ask staff. They will tell you because they should not be able to withhold that information.

As far as I know, Skill threatened him after Acts griefed his entire survival server and never had any intentions of getting off and stopping.

While the DDOSing never took place, a threat's a threat and I do see the error in this and I believe that a report was successfully committed as a result.

I believe that this was the reason that his 2 month ban took place after the situation and intentions were explained to the previous owner.

Like I said, the punishment was already decided and he does not need to be punished for the same offense again.

I would compare this to someone saying "I'm going to hit off your server" and having the owner ban me before they do so (even though that prevents nothing) but people on here will get the wrong idea again because the situation doesn't compare with the same severity.

Let's be honest here, this is Minecraft after all. If you were to walk to a League of Legends game, no-one would know what the term DDOSing even stands for. If I were in Skill's shoes at the time, I would have limited options, as many of you guys would. I think you should probably stop coming into this thread and talking about a subject that you clearly know very little about.

Skill asked you to defend him, and you've done that. We all understand that you like him and that you don't want your friend to be banned.

The rest of us believe that rules should apply equally to everyone and that if a member scams and alts they should be permanently banned. You may not agree with the facts, but trust me, the fact is that Skill alted and scammed in the past, and staff, including Mick, are well aware of this fact.

I actually find your comments to be extremely intriguing.

You switch topics to debate about the second I counter them as you're unable to defend them and you keep searching until you find one that I cannot defend, then tell me to leave. But then again, the thread got really hypocritical the second I joined; your topics began jumping everywhere into pits that didn't even matter. I can understand why you want me to leave: you're having a hard time dealing with my argument and just want Skill banned for annoying you in the past. I clearly know the majority of the stuff I'm talking about and properly address the stuff I'm not certain about, like the DDOS issue stated above. Don't tell me to leave; I can clearly see that you're desperate about the outcome of the situation. As long as you're spewing things that are off topic, my answer to your question will remain as a no. I've acted in a civilized manned throughout this entire conversation. If you believe to be able to second my opinions, you should have no issues rejecting them, yet it is clearly evident that it is not the case.

You should read the timestamp on that post. Last time I checked, Mick was the owner since September and it's now December.
You're bring up old topics that have already served their purpose to talk about.

You also brought up the term 'bribery' or 'persuasion' a bunch of times on this thread. While that is an interesting topic that will do some heavy damage to MC-Market if exposed, you seem to have no such evidence. You know why? Because it never happened before. Don't quote me on this, go ahead and quote Mick a couple posts above. Stop defending your points by spreading rumors. That's a terrible thing to do.

And from what Skill just told me, you've committed some of the exact same offenses that you're trying to use to get Skill banned.
Let's enlighten you on a few that I've just been informed of:

• You spam rated everybody when you first joined the forums. As a result you were banned with your ratings removed. You were given a second chance.
• To up to 4 times (no evidence available anymore), you were temp-banned by Verringer for trolling.
• You reached up to 40 warning points and recieved a hefty fine. A couple days later, you were unbanned. I assumed you were given a third chance.

So I've a couple of questions for you now:

• Are you an alt of whoever you post spammed?
• Does Mick get to ban you too? Rules apply to everybody equally after all...
• Doesn't this get stupid at this point?

Sure, you have shown me that Skill is Handicap. What does that relate to anything? Has he tried to scam as Handicap before? And how does he 'impersonate' himself while on the same account? Sounds a little illusive to me, don't you think?
