Future of McSniper

Hey.

So recently a few days ago, Lyphiard added a random cooldown to get a snipe. Where do you think McSniper is going or will go? I personally liked how it was before.

P.S. Can't wait to see how many people bot the name availability :rofl:

I think the new system is cool, maybe too long of a potential wait though. It will allow some people to get nice names if people hold off on botting the snipe availabilities

what do you mean by random cooldown?

You have to wait 12-48 hours before you can snipe a name.

I personally don't think it's a bad thing, Chearful has a wait and it really hasn't affected anything.

It doesn't affect anything because of the fact that there's a bidding system and the cooldown isn't random.

Bidding system? And the random cool down means not the same people have a chance at an OG minecraft name.

You can bid on the snipes. That makes it bad, you can't buy snipes off of people, and Lyphiard doesn't let you purchase snipes off him. Not to mention people have spent money on name drop notifiers, so rip.

I mean both of them have differences about them, I don't see how making a random drop time is going to affect anything except the people who sell accounts. Which is myself and others but I personally I see why he did it. However the people who bought name drop notifiers are just out of luck, I highly doubt it was his intention to ruin their purchase and or development.

There really isn't a visible reason why he did it. There'll never be a person that gets all the snipes, and if you have a name drop notifier it really depends on how fast it is, and how fast you can get the snipe.

This barely makes a difference. Only thing now is that more people will know of the name and will feel like they have a better chance at queuing it first. I always hear people say "It got queued right away." so that is likely the reason for this. If it doesn't work out well, I'm sure it'll be reverted.

Good thing no update would personally affect me anyway :^)

Anyway, I've used both a lot and I know for a fact that both have have pretty big win streaks over each other all the time. Only thing is some people like to be obnoxious and loud over the success of one all the time while trashing the other and I don't understand the point in that.
